Welcome to the Horizon Project Wiki
The Horizon Project Wiki is the nexus for all of the work that took place in the project in 2009 and in previous years. Here you can find links to every aspect of the project and all the of the data, research, and background materials used in the preparation of the Report. This wiki was our primary work area. Below in a variety of major sections, you will find links to the areas in which we were actively engaged. The focus of the group changed week by week as we moved through the various processes involved in sorting through the technologies and issues on our way to the final list that is featured in the 2009 Horizon Report. Status and process advisories along the way helped participants know what was asked of them each week.
Below that you'll find a carefully selected collection of press clippings, articles, reports, essays, RSS feeds, and links we gathered to inform our work. Last year we began incorporating live RSS feeds into the Horizon Project wiki to ensure we had access to the most up-to-date content. The items in these areas are meant to grow – please add to them liberally from your own readings and environmental scanning. There is much material here, and with your help, it will grow in significance.
A special section related to the Advisory Board follows the Web 2.0 area, and we round out the wiki with a look back to previous year's reports. Included here are active discussions from current and past advisory board members on the current state of some of the technologies we thought would be important. We'd like to know your views, as many of these are still relevant to our work.
